So why would you use sensors that slow you down using 1920′s wire nut technology?
Wire Nuts were invented in 1920, and had their place, but it is a very old way of attaching wires, that is slow and antiquated. Many times, when up on a ladder on in a bucket, you will drop the wire nuts, have to go down, pick them up, and start over. Also, I’ve spoken to many contractors that said when installing sensors on equipment that vibrates, many times the wire nuts will vibrate and come loose, and will lose their connection. About the only way to prevent that from happening, is to tape them together tight with electrical tape, which takes even more time.
The Tasseron Qwik Series is the only Temperature Sensors available that uses Patent Pending Qwik Connect technology. The connection is 100% reliable every single time.
They are much faster to install than a sensor using wire nuts. Tests show a savings of at least 2 minutes per sensor, versus our competitors products utilizing wire nuts. Our Qwik connects can’t be dropped, or misplaced like wire nuts, and can not rattle loose on equipment that vibrates.
So, just as you wouldn’t be driving a 1920 Model T on todays super highways, with cars blasting by you at 70 mph, why would you use sensors that use wire nuts invented in 1920, when the Model T was invented, as the means of attaching your wires?
If you are using sensors with wire nuts, you are driving too slow, and losing money on every job.
